The past three years have brought challenge after challenge for our Lifepointe family. After the fire in 2023, we believed our insurance would allow us to rebuild quickly but when our insurer went into liquidation, everything came to a halt. We were left without the full payout, unable to replace everything we’d lost, and watching our rebuild sit still has been truly heartbreaking.

Before the fire, our building was used by the Sunshine Coast community every single day. Losing it and then learning there wasn’t enough insurance to rebuild the entire facility was devastating. With only partial funds available, our rebuilding program was forced onto hold as we navigated how to move forward with limited resources.

Now, at long last, we’re finally able to start building again but we still can’t complete the project on our own. That’s why we’ve launched a GoFundMe: to help us finish the home our church and community have been waiting and praying for.
